Continuing on with July 2011....

**My slacker-ism skillz kicked in and Im behind again! So I'm kicking my butt into gear and catching up!**

There's only ONE one ONE onnnnne LAGOON!

Grandma Natalie and German invited us to join them at Lagoon on July 24th.  We were a little hesitant at first since Aaubre was still pretty little we weren't sure what rides she would be able to go on BUT after much "pep-talk" and "peer pressure" from all of them, even little unckey monkey (uncle Dylan - 11yrs), we decided to go and it was FUN!

Aaubre was able to go on some of the kiddy rides and Im pretty sure mommy and daddy were WAY more excited than she was!! lol  She was able to hitch a ride on a space ship with another little girl and she wasn't quite sure about it - once she saw us in the crowd she was like GET ME OFF!  We got a cute picture out of it though! :)

 

Our next stop was the swings! She loves the swings at the park - they usually make her laugh uncontrollably - so we figured she'd LOVE these too! Boy were we wrong! She even sat with mommy and did not like the ride one bit!! She's been on a mary-go-round and liked it but for some reason nothing about this trip to Lagoon excited her - here she is holding on to German for dear life!!

 

Just when we were beginning to think that the trip would be a complete disappointment for her, we walked into the water fountains and anyone who knows Aaubre knows that when it comes to water ANYTHING she is ALL about it!!  We even have to add warm water to her baths because she doesn't want to get out! lol  Anywho, back to the fountains.... this made the trip well worth it! She had an absolute BLAST with unkey monkey running through the shooting water.  We got a lot of it on video too!
