Vegas with the sista Aug/Sept 2011
It will be a trip that we will forever remember! ...and not because we
won or had the time of our lives, nope, it will be remembered for
numerous times one had to pack for the many mandatory "privileges" of
exploring, what seemed like, every room on every floor, around every
corner of one hotel. And lets not forget the pest-y visitors and late night chats
we had with various hotel security and management. Yep.... this trip
will be remembered!! Looking back now, its quite a comical story, but
at that time, WOW, what an inconvenience!! Thank goodness for the
morning poolside bloody mary's, the mid-day chillin' pina colada's and
night out vodka ruby red concoctions!! I must admit though,over all it wasn't all that
bad of a trip, only the few crazy random moments!

Oh we mustn't forget the eye drops for tourists used to humidity and not the hot dry dessert!.... wait what about nose drops? hard crusty boogies can hurt and cause irritation too! lol

Amanda and Blake celebrated their 5th Anniversary by going to dinner at MESA restaurant, while Aaron and I munched on some oh so yummy CheeseCake Factory food...DEEEELish!

We decided to do the FREMONT STREET Experience....turns out we chose the wrong night to go, the tables sucked...should have gone the night before when they were $1 tables....bummer. However, there was lots of things going on and many very, very interesting things to see*haha*
Yup....the picture above us pretty much says it all....WE ROCK!! lol
No pic of room #1's view - it was not picture worthy, so the room above took a leak on it!.... then came the visit of the maintenance guy who booted Amanda and Blake outta there! (oh and before this, their original room was not ready at check in so they were moved into a mini suite on a different floor than us, so naturally we switched our room to be closer/on the same floor as theirs, which in the end, did no justice...at all)
Room #2's 5hr-ish view....not bad eh?..... too bad it didn't last long.....
BUT who would want to share a room with THESE guys??? Eww... a million plus aunts! Oh the joys of the wondrous adventures you can have on a Friday night in Vegas!
YES .... I typed that correctly.... FRIDAY night!!! We soooo wanted to spend our night finding these pests, talking for an hour with the front counter manager, only to get the run around, and to be informed there would be no compensation besides a food ticket and to call security because it fell under "health risks". We then waited in the room for security to come examine the pest infested room and after about 45minutes of boredom, we decided to make our night even more interesting and take a stroll to the BASEMENT of the hotel to talk directly to security. That guy was friendly but could do nothing.....so we waited some more, until a lady came to help us, which then turned us over to another security guy, which then told us this was RIDICULOUS and escorted us back up to speak with the front desk manager!!! WTF??!! We finally were able to get a decent compensation for this torture of a trip vacationing from room to room to room.

Over all it's not that bad of a hotel (for an older hotel)... it was just an unlucky trip!
