Easter 2012

Our 2nd Annual visit to the Herriman Easter Egg Hunt

We had a lot of fun with our little 2 almost 3 year old Easter 2012!  We took her once again, to the Easter Egg Hunt that they do every year up in Herriman, which she loved! ...and compared to last year she was great!! Although they must have learned their lesson from the year prior because they didn't make the munchkins wait longer than the scheduled Easter Egg Hunt time like they did the year before.  I swear there wasn't nearly as many upset little kid-lings being held back by their parents, but of course, we couldn't help but laugh at the ones that there were ;)  The hunt was over within a matter of minutes, and when I say minutes I really most literally mean like 2 minutes haha. It is amazing how quick a littered grassy field can be picked up, especially when that litter is candy!!
(oh and after the hunt we hopped by the store and our little bunny spotted a cart just her size so we just HAD to have it... our little bunny did the shopping for us, check out that look.... like sooo mature ;-)

Aaubre is super artistic!  She always has taken herself seriously when it comes to making things look pretty.  That being said, you can see just how much she truly loves putting her "all" into her art.

Easter morning, our groggy little bunny had a one track mind....egg, egg, egg, candy, egg, egg, egg, candy...Pick'em UP, Put'em IN my Basket :)  I don't think she took her eyes off the ground in fear of missing one! haha  In fact, she was so diligently focused on it, I don't think she noticed that Daddy was every so often, taking some out of her basket and hiding it again *TEEheeHEE*, just to continue on the fun.  She barely noticed her BIG basket with the GIGANTIC yellow ducky in it!  She only spotted it once the trail of candy ended and she had to look up!  Of course we got it all on video - gotta capture these fun little moments on tape! ...or dvd! ...whatever!

Aaubre and cousin Tayven, who at the time was 1 and a half, got to do another Easter egg hunt at grandma J'Leans house.  They had a lot of fun finding their very own colorful eggs and putting them into their pretty purple unicorn baskets! Great grandma J'Lean had a lot of baskets to choose from and they both chose the "horseys"! I love them both, and their "bunny" bums!! lol
