Bowling at All Star Lanes

When it comes to bowling, Aaubre is a natural! Her first time and she gets a few spares AND strikes!....with the help of the iron ramp of course ;) She seemed to enjoy herself pretty well, but one game is all that little lady can handle, especially when grandma Nat joins the fun and there's an arcade full of bright, fun & noisy games with prizes right around the corner! LoL
She's so stinkin CUTE!
As promised in a previous post - - today was the day that she got her Doggy! Yes the one she would take everywhere with her no matter where we were going *haha*. There's this HUGE game, you know, the one with the "claw" that everyone looses at, trying to get a stuffed animal? I don't know what it's actually called but it's one of those machines that I swear is "rigged" to only takes your money! Well this was that game only it was GIGANTIC! Literally life size! The window went from the ceiling to about a foot above the floor and it was filled with the stuffed animals that you see at hanging at carnivals that you can only win if you play and win their game a TUN of times - they were about the size of Aaubre herself! Well, there was this one particular stuffed animal that Aaubre kept pointing at and just had to have so she kept repeating to grandma ...."doggy! doggy?! doggy!" What grandma's will do for their little munchkin grandkids! haha She played that game over and over,wanting so badly to win that doggy for her little Aaubre! She came pretty dang close a few times too! ...but like I said, I swear these games are rigged for you to get your hopes up and loose! She would have it and as soon as the claw was back up to the top you could tell it would loosen its grip and "accidentally" drop it. Well she was not about to give up! She was dead set on winning that doggy and she sure showed that machine! LoL! She tried one more time and whaddya know? she won, not only a doggy BUT she also got a HUGE ducky too!! Aaubre was so excited!! "oh wow! yay!" she said as she jumped up and down with joy! What an awesome grandma right?!! Well as if that wasn't enough, it just so happened that she won the grey doggy and not the brown one that Aaubre was persistantly pointing at SOOOOO grandma Nat asked the prize guy if she could exchange it for the brown one and sure enough, it was her lucky day! He very willingly unlocked the door to the huge machine, stepped in and exchanged grey doggy for the brown one she wanted!! What a spoiled little girl! She sure has a lot of people who love and will do anything for her! :) It turned out to be such a fun-filled day... and to top it off, they had also won tickets from some of the other games they played and she got a little rubber ducky prize too! She had us "quacking" up!! How could you not when you see this cute little munckin like this in the car..... she was so happy with all of her prizes snuggled up close to her!
We went bowling another time with Grandma Nat and her grandpa German came to say hi and you'll never guess what he won her!! *wink* This fun silly lookin', not so little, FROGGY!
