We hitched a ride with our friends, Jessica and John, up to the "U" for some pregame tailgating.... was the first time for both Aaron and me, and we gotta say, it was pretty dang fun! Excited to do it again!!
Our friends, Matt & DiVina (and their family) bought an old ambulance and turned it into the amb"U"lance - - pretty awesome! Check out their "U" bar in the upper left pic....they know how to party in style!! We also hung out with our friends Nick and Korri and her mom & step dad, Kat & Dave, that were up there bbq'n it up too! ....then I turn around and run into my cousins Mel & Lindee and fam!! It was awesome to see everyone!!
Good times up at Snow Bird!!
Every year we go up. This year was PERFECT! Got to hit up the Oktober Fest with nice jacket weather. Check out the beautiful fall colored mountains. Went swimming. And got our first taste of winter just before checkout!
On Oct 20th we decided to enter the car show on Soda Row in Daybreak, a community literally 5 minutes from our home. It turned out to be such a nice night and quite a few people and cool cars showed up! It was the first car show that Aaron had entered the 66 Dodge Charger in so it was a pretty cool experience.
We heard about this place on groupon.... they do this thing called a "Halloween Boat Cruise" so we decided to give it a try for something different to do. It was pretty neat for the kiddos. Basically you get on a boat and they row up and down the provo river which they had lit up with lights and lined the banks with Jack-o-lanterns. Some of the pumpkins were placed upside down so that the reflection in the water would be correct.
