**Still working on catching up!! ...it starts back in June if you want to catch up too!**
After lots of paper work and 7 month's worth of practiced patience's, we finally were able to move into OUR house mid-January!!
Here's some pictures of the progress....
You may remember the blog I posted a while back of our LOT - this is what it originally looked like and it goes clear back to that point where the two fences meet
Framing took place in October 2010
Sheet-rocking was completed in November 2010
The outside of the house was started in November and finished in December 2010
(we didn't realize it at the time, which is a major bummer because once we did, it was too late to change out :( but noticed the WHITE window frames? They stick out like a sore thumb - - we are doing some research to fix these without replacing them - they should be a chocolate color to match the trim of the house)
You could imagine our excitement at this point when paint hit the walls, cabinets and appliances were installed....
....when the mirrors and hardware were hung.....
....seeing the carpet in & the fireplace, FINISHED!! :)
It was getting close!! We were so excited to finally have a home again! Living at Grandpa Bobo's house was fun, however, after the holiday we were exploding out the seams of the space we had. So when we were called to sign, it was impeccable timing!
Aaubre was thrilled too! Not only was she going to have her very own room, she could climb on the pantry shelves too! haha
When I was her age I did the same thing when my parents moved into their new home....that was nearly 25 years ago!! Haha I think closets have gotten bigger over the years, what do you think? ;) *wink*
