Aaron and I took a weekend trip down to Vegas May 7th, 8th and 9th. We got this deal in the mail that came with free tickets to the La Reve show at the Wynn Encore so we decided, why not?! It was a nice little break for us and the room was super nice! La Reve was amazing!!! They had one of those stages that could rise tall and then sink below the water so they were doing all kinds of cool stunts! It definitely was the highlight of our trip.
Aaubre was such a trooper on her birthday! We started the day off by helping Grandma NahNee and aunt Mikelle make a diaper cake for aunt Mindy's baby shower. She was my little sidekick that day and helped me put up some decorations (well she held them for me before I hung them up ;). We snuck about a half hour nap in while we were at the shower, so I was afraid that she'd end up being an awnry lil' bugger later that day for her birthday celebration, but like I mentioned before, she was a trooper! Sooo good and such a happy little attitude, I was so glad! Her birthday turned out AWESOME! We let her have her gift from Grandpa Armon and Grandma MiMi when we got there so she could be cruizen' around on it while we got things set up. It was a Barbie ATV! She looooves it! Great Grandmpa Pat gave her a mini license plate that says "Lil' Angel" on it before Aaubre was born so we put on the back of the ATV and it fits perfectly! Grandma Laura made her the cutest Hello Kitty cake! She is so talented at that! She made a few of our baby shower cakes and our wedding cake and she's done many more... if you're ever interested, give us a hollar! :) Aaubre was one spoiled little munchkin! She got a very good varity of things that she needed and wanted, like toys, clothes, jami's and lots of giggles with friends and family. It was busy busy but it turned out great! We can't believe she is already one year old!! It's amazing how fast time really does fly, but we are enjoying every single moment we have with our little angel :) Happy Birthday Aaubre! We love you!!

Aaron's Birthday
Later that night, after putting our little bday girl down for bed, Grandma & Grandpa Bobo watched her for us so that we could go out and celebrate Aaron's birthday. We got a group of friends together and went to the Huka. It was fun!

Aaubre's a Fish!!
Here's some pictures of our first trip to the pool with Aaubre... she LOVED it! She got a few swim suits for her birthday and Grandma Laura and the girls got her a way cute two piece but it's still a little baggie on her, but we got a few pics! My friend Chelsea got her a one piece that is super cute too and it fits her perfectly. Being the lil' Ms. Independent that she is, she'll take off walkin' in the shallow end, just a splishin' and splashin' with each step! Daddy will throw her in the air and she giggles and laughs and just has so much fun. We weren't able to take our floaty that we bought her into the pool, but Grandma Laura got a pool a few weeks after this and so we've been able to swim there too. There's no "shallow end" though so she has to wear her wings every time she gets in (with an adult too) but they are AWESOME! I was skeptical about water wings in the beginging... I didn't think they would really help that much, but they are terrific! We can actually let her go and she swims slash floats all on her own. She knows it too and gets a HUGE grin and that nervous, but excited giggle and she starts to kick and paddle. It's absolutely adorable!! She loves, loves, LOVES it! With a few lessons, Im sure she'll be swimming on her own pretty quick!
